The owners of this house expected to extend their family in the near future, and wanted to entertain more people than his flat, closed off, traditional brown oak wood kitchen could hold. After hearing the homeowner’s needs and wants, we designed a kitchen to fit their criteria. We decided to change the layout of the kitchen to a more open and modern look. We pitched the kitchen just the same as the rest of the house, removed walls, and created a much bigger kitchen island in the middle. We used white shaker cabinets with a mixture of grey and Calcutta Quartz countertops. 60″ stove range and stainless still hood and appliances covered the higher usage of the kitchen and gave it a more open and modern look. The result was an open, stunning, and inviting kitchen.
